Dr. Whitcomb is the best. She takes the time and effort to make you feel comfortable. She follows through with your treatment as long as needed and has been following me for 20 years now. She will be greatly missed when she retires.
I was a patient of Dr. Whitcomb's in 1990. After what started as a routine breast lump removal, she had to break the news that I had cancer. Within days, she arranged for my mastectomy, and chemo follow-up. No easy task as I was moving (3 weeks after surgery), and would need weekly chemo and surgical follow-up starting in Anchorage, then Cleveland, then Boston.
