I am currently going through the application process with Mary Ann, the site manager. She has been the example of superior customer service. She keeps me abreast through the process. I did a tour of the the renovations that they are doing on site and they look marvelous. The location is great - near Publix, the library, the gym and post office. I've only been here for a couple of months but Mary Ann and maintenance have been very helpful and professional. I made the right decision by moving here.
This complex needs new management and maintenance! High priced for old units, something always breaking. Stay away!
I am writing this review on behalf of my younger brother and his wife (I’ve been helping them search for an apartment since I am much more familiar with Gainesville). I have lived in multiple apartment complexes in Gainesville, know many people who have rented in the area and know individuals that own rental properties- the management of this leasing office is one of the worst I’ve encountered. My experience with Whisperwood was truly awful. The leasing agent - Mary Ann rarely answers the phone and we received zero assistance with our application process. They were happy to take $150 in application fees just to deny our application right away providing no explanation and refuse to work out a solution with us - we offered to add a co-signer/a guarantor or even cover the entire lease upfront.
