History Established in 1978. Whispering Pines Resort has been operated since 1978 with the same owners. Many of our staff have been long-time employees. Guests can stay from two nights or longer (we have multi-night discounts up to 25%) and have pet friendly cabins. We also have a Handicap Accessible spa cabin. Got there was supposed to be a king size bed , it was a queen that was like sleeping on the springs and hard as hell. I was talked down to by 2 employees that I didn’t make my reservation with either of them, they put words in my mouth , when I simply said I’m not happy about paying for something I didn’t agree to. No plug in’s anywhere for up to date hair tools, no A/C , also were told if we got makeup, mud any stain on white towels and linens we would be charged. The staff is so sweet, kind, & reasonable. We love supporting this local business!! We have stayed her multiple times over the years and again for the holiday weekend!!! Everything in the town and this resort is quaint and really helps get us physically and mentally escape the hustle and bustle of our every busy worlds!! We will continue to stay at the Whispering Pines Resort for years to come!!! Thank you!
Horrible place. Do not stay here!!! My wife is getting tested for COVID and won’t know the results in time for our stay this weekend and they refuse to credit back the deposit. Of which they charged after calling us to switch our room. We are disputing with CC company now and plan on submitting reviews everywhere. They literally laughed at us and said we are still open.
Sweet place to party/relax
These people went above and beyond for our family. We used their venue for a celebration of life service and it was amazing. Everyone loved it and family members that stayed in cabins just said how beautiful it was. They made sure we had everything we needed and were just amazing and so helpful in such a tough time for us. I would recommend this place to anyone. A+++ rating. Kellen and her husband are awesome hosts.
Just got home to the heat and wishing we were back in this little slice of heaven. The staff is so welcoming, personable, and just all around good people. I'm so happy I found this place last summer. Can't wait to go back!
