Yesterday was my wife's birthday and, since everything else was closed and we enjoyed Whiskey Cake before, she wanted to go to this place for brunch. Given the traffic situation on the 1604 highway, we left home early and arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation. No issue, we can wait and were promptly seated in the waiting area. I am diabetic and my blood sugar was running a bit low (have not had breakfast in anticipation of brunch) so I told the lady tending the area this this and asked for just a glass of juice. This is our first trip to San Antonio and I found Whiskey Cake on google. Great atmosphere, food, and service! The Whiskey cake dessert was beyond delicious and I never order dessert.

First timer here, completely amazed by the very friendly staff. The atmosphere in this place is so chill and welcoming. The food was amazing, everything made to perfect. Our servers, best I have ever encountered. Along with great service came a bit of knowledge about the place which made the experience even better. Keep up the work Can't wait to go back
The appetizers are humus and carrots and califlower and stuuf you do not want to eat unless your vegan. The drinks are made with whiskey or bourbon which will get your buzz fast so you’ll need some real food fast.

Brandon, who hurt you? While I do have two amazing vegetarian appetizers , the Roasted Butternut - Turmeric Hummus (it is vegan and comes with a fantastic crudité...) and the Arrosto Misto (one of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever had!), of the 30+ dishes on my menu only 7 (including desert) are meat free.
