I only gave one star because that was the least I could give. When I was younger, my mom had whirlpool appliances, so as I grew up and had my family I purchased same. Always happy with them. Fast forwarding to now, I purchased Maytag. From the time I received it, I had nothing but problems with the icemaker. Air was getting into the shoot from outside freezer door b/c it wasn’t closing properly. The ice in bin would freeze solid and all around outside the bin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT BUY THIS WORTHLESS PRODUCT!! I totally agree with all the negative comments! We bought our refrigerator from Lowes in July. In less than 4 months the ice maker stopped working. I called customer service and after a 20 minute wait finally got scheduled for service. The repairman looked at it for less than 3 minutes and said we needed a new ice maker and that this was a common problem with Whirlpool appliances.
