I was disappointed with my experience during my PQME evaluation with Dr. Ilene Kusens. From the beginning of the appointment, I felt that her demeanor was unfriendly, abrupt, and dismissive. When I asked for clarification about a form I was asked to complete, I felt that the explanation was delivered in a stern and condescending manner, leaving me uncomfortable asking additional questions. Dr. Ilene Kusens is always very impatient and rush. She is not empathetic nor a good listener. Not sure why she wanted to be a psychologist if she doesn’t have the qualities and passion as a psychologist. Avoid her if you can. She got a lot of bad reviews.
