I often hear from my patients that I am "down-to-earth" and "real." I am professional, but very personal. I take the time to get to know my patients, and evaluate where I can help them. Some patients come in and want an over-haul of their entire mouths and smiles... and I am happy to help them with that. My daughter had her first dentist visit today. I was so so relieved when my daughter warmed up to Dr Wheeler so quickly. Dr Wheeler and her assistant were so patient with my daughter, took her time showing her all the tools, how they work and letting her feel them on her hands, explaining the procedure (making it fun and not scary). She even let me (mommy) ride on her "magic exam chair" My daughter ended up needing a filling and the whole process was done in the blink of an eye. My daughter was so happy when she left!
