We visited Wheeldon Trees Farm Cottages recently for the fourth time for our family holiday and absolutely love the place; a true home away from home. The surrounding views are simply beautiful, there’s plenty of good walks (not to mention braving the ascent of High Wheeldon Tor), the cottages are well-equipped with everything you need and Deborah and Martin are always attentive should you need anything in particular. If you do stay be sure to visit the local Tagg Lane Dairy Farm as their ice cream is fantastic and literally... read more

We visited Wheeldon Trees Farm Holiday Cottages for a weekend in August. It was an absolutely perfect weekend, exactly the break we needed. Deborah and Martin had thought of absolutely everything from the walking cards to the milk in the fridge. We loved that they are also eco-friendly. Stunning views too! Lovely time, lovely memories made, we will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

Loved this place and was already to book again, after illness blighted our holiday lest year which meant we couldn’t enjoy it to the full, but same week as last year is now almost double the price. Although I understand that increases happen I’m really surprised that the increase is so astronomical.

We stayed here during February half term, welcomed by storm Dennis! Despite the weather we had a wonderful time, in no small part due to the venue. Every detail is thought about to make your stay comfortable and pleasant; home cooked meals available to purchase, laundry room on site, stair gates, baby chairs, slow cooker, you name it they've got it. Nothing is too much trouble! You can feed the alpacas, sheep, rabbits, chickens and ducks in the mornings, the whole far... read more

We have just had a fantastic week at Wheeldon Trees Ollerenshaw cottage is cosy and comfortable with everything you could need loved Alexa. The scenery all around is beautiful with fantastic walks to enjoy. Being situated so close to the high peak trail is fantastic as I cycled from Chesterfield to Wheeldon Trees with 2 dogs in a trailer using the trail from High Peak junction straight through to within a mile of our destination. We did lots of walking and exploring and also enjoyed a cycle ride to Ashbourne the dogs love ru... read more
