I was recently at WCC for two weeks, I did not want to go to rehab because I had been in another care center there in Wheat Ridge and it was horrible. When I got there I was surprised at the care they showed me. My room was cleaned every day. And when I needed help the Aides and Nurses ( especially LaTesia) were always there. The food needed a little help but was ok. As far as PT Bella and Lorie were very kind and helpful I know I was a bit of a problem at times. My family member stayed here recently. We were all very happy with the care and concern of the facility. They truly cared about her every step of the way, toward complete rehabilitation! I would recommend Wheat Ridge to anyone looking for short or long term care. We all truly felt she was treated like family!
Can't wait to financially stable to take my mother out of this place she's been treated terrible since she's been in there
We put our parents in this facility for hospice respite for 5 days. My mother fell out of bed onto the concrete floor and no one helped her up, not sure how long she was on the floor. They didn't even put her a bed alarm knowing she was fall risk. My sister went to visit and found here with blood in her mouth and her body has been in pain ever since we brought her home. Spoke with the Director of Admissions on last Tuesday Dee Gallegos and she was very professional. She took me on a tour of the facility and showed me around. Staff were all warm and friendly. Thank you to Ms. Dee Gallegos and Wheat Ridge Care Center!!!
