We put our parents in this facility for hospice respite for 5 days. My mother fell out of bed onto the concrete floor and no one helped her up, not sure how long she was on the floor. They didn't even put her a bed alarm knowing she was fall risk. My sister went to visit and found here with blood in her mouth and her body has been in pain ever since we brought her home. Spoke with the Director of Admissions on last Tuesday Dee Gallegos and she was very professional. She took me on a tour of the facility and showed me around. Staff were all warm and friendly. Thank you to Ms. Dee Gallegos and Wheat Ridge Care Center!!!
Just wanted to have new year with my brother and could not
The staff at Wheatridge Manor is kind and compassionate with their residents. My father was a resident there for physical therapy after open heart surgery and was able to fully rehabilitate with their services.
This is an amazing choice, if you need rehab or long term care. The staff are kind, caring and engaging, most having over 10 years at this facility. The residents are up and moving around, actually taking and seem happy to be there. I looked all over Colorado Springs and then Denver and accidentally found the best I've seen in the entire state. I recommend Wheat Ridge Manor Care to anyone needing assistance. Just give 'em a call! This is definitely your best choice.
