Super interesting policy: you can book an appt. Online, same day. Call back and cancel it within 5 min to take your kid to immediate care & you get charged the $60 for a same day cancellation. Totally understand same day cancellations, but not in cases like this. The appt. I scheduled was going to occur in 5 hours… sure, we’ll let you take the appointment same day & then if you have to make a triage decision within that 5 minutes, we’ll profit off of you. Gross.
We have had an amazing experience here. No matter who we see, they are always so attentive, take the time to answer all our questions, and be so good with our baby. Our doctor caught something that required a specialist and the specialist said most pediatricians would have missed it. We can also get in last minute if something comes up. I highly recommend if you want the highest care for your children!
We have been bringing our children here for 6 years and love the staff. The doctors are really great with the kids and always address any concerns we have had. I feel comfortable with my little ones seeing any of the doctors at this practice, and I know that is very rare, but they are honestly all bring something great to the practice. The nursing staff is always incredibly helpful and friendly. I never feel rushed at the appointments and my kids love going to see their doctors!
I bring my 5 year old, 4 year old and 2 month old to Wheaton Pediatrics. All were seen at the hospital the day they were born by some of the wonderful different pediatricians. We have never had a bad experience and this is the reason why all three of my children come here. Having worked in healthcare, pediatrics being one of them, I am very happy at the ease of getting my children seen or questions answered via phone. I am giving 5 stars for our overall expierence at this office. We love Dr. Grunenwald and her expertise, my daughter loves to see her, even when she is sick. Today we waited over 35 mins past appt. time (arrived 15 mins early) for a different Dr and had to leave and reschedule for tomorrow. May I suggest giving patients updates when Dr.s are running that behind? When I asked the nurse for an update, she barely lifted her head from what she was doing to acknowledge me.
