I just left Wheaton Eye Clinic in Naperville after accompanying my dad to his eye appointment. We had a disappointing experience when we were leaving to set up another appointment. I misunderstood the receptionist when she asked us to wait behind a sign in the hallway. We went to find a seat in the hallway, and since there weren't any up front we moved to the back. Muy buen servicio son excelentes oftalmólogos
I’ve been going to Wheaton Eye Clinic for years and they are normally great. However, this past visit was disheartening. All of the staff I interacted with and observed were rude to patients, had little patience, and seemed like they didn’t have the time for my questions. It felt very rushed and I left with no game plan about my vision.
Husband went in for general exam, said minor poor vision in left eye, appoint 30 minutes. Not happy with the answer he went to my doctor, his examine was 90 minutes, found detached retina. Referred to eye surgeon. Surgeon checked his records, Wheaton had noted he had a detached retina 4 years go but didn't tell him. He will NEVER got to them again.
