Husband went in for general exam, said minor poor vision in left eye, appoint 30 minutes. Not happy with the answer he went to my doctor, his examine was 90 minutes, found detached retina. Referred to eye surgeon. Surgeon checked his records, Wheaton had noted he had a detached retina 4 years go but didn't tell him. He will NEVER got to them again.
We had an excellent experience at Wheaton Eye Clinic. My two-year-old needed an eye exam after a pediatrician referral, and I honestly could not be happier with how everything went. We saw Nathaniel E. McIntyre, M.D., and he was absolutely amazing. This is exactly the kind of person who should be working with little kids. He truly has it in him. Be very careful of this place. Dr did unnecessary test and charged us. Upon asking, they said you will have to pay. When I called my insurance company they said these charges should be covered by the insurance. Then the office tells me Dr Kipp is medical doc and does not take vision insurance. Then why are they deceiving patients by their name wheaton eye clinic? Be careful, they are rude will make you sign thing, do unnecessary test and bill you. We are never going back!!
