About this business

This European-style cafe in One Pacific Place is well known for its crepes, omelettes, casseroles and decadent desserts. The lunch and dinner menus are very similar; however, the dinner menu also offers pastas and steaks. Try one of the sumptuous cheese, meat or dessert fondues or a crisp Salad 103. Be sure to save room for dessert. With more than 50 to choose from, you may need to save room for several. The Alpine Torte Cake, a mix of chocolates and cream, is fantastic.

Posting propaganda that will put employees, customers, and community at risk. Shameful.

Hopefully this place doesn’t survive the pandemic. The food is garbage, service (usually) terrible and if you needed another reason they feel like owning a bakery is a good pedestal to spout homophobic, dangerous, uneducated propaganda. You’re a bakery, not a political entity. Get over yourselves 🙄

I went to the Old Market Wheatfields location shortly after moving to Omaha, as it had been recommended by several people. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype in any way. The restaurant smelled awful (despite apparently being known for their baked goods), it took forever to get served, the food was mediocre at best, and the customer service was just lacking in general. Plenty of other local restaurants more worthy of your support that are more likely to deliver a good experience.

Wheatfield's is distributing anti-face mask propaganda to its employees in defiance of state and federal guidelines. Their management is clearly in the Covid-19 = conspiracy camp. If you think the virus is fake news and if you want to support a restaurant that encourages its staff to violate recommended health guidelines then this restaurant is for you. Health conscious diners or anyone with respiratory issues or compromised immune systems should stay away.

This eatery is more concerned about profit then the health and safety of their customers and employees. #WearMaskSavesLives

The food is horrible, and I feel insanely bad for the staff having to deal with the owner. No one deserves to work/live with, or have a relationship of any type with someone as toxic as Ron. For an owner to blatantly abuse his staff without any regard for how his actions are affecting those working for him is absolutely ridiculous. I have two words for you, Ron. Bless. You.

failure to protect staff and patrons leads to a very poor presentation of their business philosophy.
