Wheatfields

About this business

This European-style cafe in One Pacific Place is well known for its crepes, omelettes, casseroles and decadent desserts. The lunch and dinner menus are very similar; however, the dinner menu also offers pastas and steaks. Try one of the sumptuous cheese, meat or dessert fondues or a crisp Salad 103. Be sure to save room for dessert. With more than 50 to choose from, you may need to save room for several. The Alpine Torte Cake, a mix of chocolates and cream, is fantastic.

They refuse to accept valid state issued ID for alcoholic beverages if it's not a driver's license. Federal law states that any government issued photo ID is valid. Will be taking this one up with the BBB.

We put in an order for 21 pieces of fried Chicken Saturday the Dec. 7th to be picked up at 7:15 PM we picked it up immediately brought it home and served it. When we took the foil off the tops of the chicken and noticed they were all burnt black on top. It smelled of old oil was room temperature. We went ahead and tried to eat it. It was dry and over cooked. We called the next day and talked to the owners wife Ruth Ann and she was very rude and told us there was nothing wrong with it and are going to do nothing about it and ... read more

Everything we got was disappointing. Chicken dinner had no flavor. My son’s corn dogs were burnt and hard. He got a Santa frosted sugar cookie that was hard as a rock (who likes hard sugar cookies!?). Also got a pecan pie that was hard as a rock and really didn’t taste like anything. Definitely felt like it was a total waste of $50.

Visiting from Michigan. This is my favorite breakfast restaurant hands down when in Omaha. The bakery is full of all kinds of treats to take back with us! We absolutely love this place! Judging from the popularity and size of the crowd on Sunday morning, Omaha thinks so too.

I ordered a croissant sandwich, which included a cup of soup as a side. Appoarently I was mistakenly served a "bowl" of soup -- it came in a cup, with handles -- and then charged 9.99 additional for the soup. The manager was unhelpful, even belligerent. My family and I will NEVER return.
