The last time I was in here was when it was in Chicopee Dec 1971 I moved to phoenix for a time and came back and it was gone. I thought it was scrapt until I read there page in 2015. Food was good service was. excellent.
Wonderful food, great service and an atmosphere reminiscent of days past, I will visit again!
Sunday Dale & I were up in the Whatley and stopped at the Whatley dinner & truck stop for lunch. I ordered a hot dog which on the menu was 2.99. I also asked for raw onions on the dog. The food was ok. I got the bill they charged 3.24, of course being the curious type I ask why the difference. I was told .25 cents extra charge for the onions. I paid the bill and told the girl this was outrageous and left Another lesson learned.
Good food friendly people and all in a little 50s diner really loved it
Do yourself a favor and schedule your stop here on a Monday. That is the only day they have the Yankee Pot Roast. Oh my WORD is it DELICIOUS!!! The best I've ever had at a restaurant BY FAR. And the potatoes cooked with it are just as good as the meat! I even used a spoon and got up as much of the broth I could from the plate. It is THAT good.
