Gem of a diner here in Massachusetts somewhere off i-91.... good food ,friendly staff,& excellent conversations had...
It's OK. Good things are that it's open 24 hours and always serves breakfast. The food and service is hit or miss. Last night, the A/C was blasting on and off so I was alternately cool, then freezing. The eggs benedict were a little on the hard side and the hash browns were inedible pieces of rubber, but I've been there when they've been good. Trendy diner atmosphere. Very mixed feelings.
This was unbelievable we sat in a booth for 20 mins before we were offered drinks. Than another 10 mins before the waitress came and took our order. The French onion soup was so bad. It didn't even look presentable. They charged more on my bill and when I showed them they said sorry that was a mistake. But never fixed the bill. Also, the juke box took 2 $ to play 7 songs and only let me choose 4. When I told the waitress only a sorry and no redund. The food was decent but not for the price. Meatloaf was all beef and o.k. But the clam chowder WOW!!!
Small hometown atmosphere. Makes you feel welcome.
Great food and nice people. I'm glad I had the chance to stop.
two stranded andl lost Aistralians were lucky enough to fall into the diner and be rescued by the manager Eric who went to great lengths to put us in the right direction to get our car back to Medford near Boston. The BLT and fries were great too
