The Key Lime cake was moist, but it wasn’t my usual preference. To me, it had more of a batter-like texture and taste than the cake texture that I enjoy. I spoke with her about it, and she explained that her cakes are baked slowly at 300° rather than 350°. I certainly wouldn’t tell anyone how to bake their cakes—everyone has their own style.
