The food is great and the Isle of Wheat beer is outstanding. I like how the history and the décor tie into the building. One suggestion sweet tea.
Love having something new in town! The decor is great, but for us, it's all about the food. We have been twice, and found the food very, very salty (that's two verys). The soft shell crabs were the worst I've ever had, and I was really disappointed. The batter was heavy and soggy and the poor crab body squished when I bit it and squirted out salty liquid into my mouth--a very disgusting sensation. Will give it one more try and have a burger--maybe that will be the only thing we come here for again. Sorry.
Salmon and catfish were delicious. Enjoyed a piece of chocolate peanut butter pie to end the meal and it was amazing. Love the atmosphere- so much character. Will most definitely be back!
First timers tonight and will be back ! Everyone was very friendly and Peter our waiter was awesome. He was very outgoing and made very good suggestions on the beer and food. The place was packed and he seemed happy to answer all of our questions. Had a great time.
Me and the wife stopped in for lunch and fell in love with the place. My wife being hard of hearing really liked that Lee could talk to her in sign (Very rare when it comes to pubs and restaurants). The food taste and presentation was amazing. The beer was extremely enjoyable. We will be stopping by alot more.
Had a wonderful dinner at the wharf last night with my wife. She had the Pot Pie and I had the meatloaf and both are delicious! Had the Isle of Wheat beer which was very good as well. Only complaint (and would have given 5 stars) is that they have NO Sweet Tea! Unsweetened only! How can any respectable restaurant South of the Mason Dixie Line not have sweet tea!?! Oh well, beside that it's amazing!
