Great place to eat. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and delightful help. Love the Shrimp and Grits, Blackened Shrimp, and their Collards. Had Red Beans and Rice with Shrimp and Sausage. Delicious. Added bonus, Shrimp is locally caught....not Farm raised. Also, meals don't break the bank. Very affordable. You won't go wrong eating here.
Great staff absolutely wonderful customer service. I like the fact that the cashiers were well knowledge about the menu and made great suggestions. Came here for a date night honestly at the lounge that we was going to go to but they didn't serve food and suggested we grab something and then come back. We chose this restaurant for dinner and took it to go. Great seafood! The side dishes were so good! Especially the cheesy Gouda grits and the garlic green beans! My husband liked his seafood platter, especially with the option of blackened- he avoids fried foods. I did get loaded fried green tomatoes- and they were soooo good!
I recommend everyone to stop in if you're near Bannerman. The young lady Crystal is amazing she really makes you feel like family and she loves her job. I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The pound of Blue Crab Claws were delicious and the Snow Crab legs were just right. The Catfish was just like grandma's and the fried Shrimp and fried Oysters were juicy and delicious as well. I loved atmosphere it is very relaxing
The Wharf at Bannerman is amazing! Jenna took our order with a friendly attitude even when we made some changes she never got impatient. She kept smiling and was the same way when she brought the food to our table. She's excellent at customer service! The chef brought out our appetizer and apologized that they were short-handed.
