Fantastic getaway! Planned on one night, ended up staying three. Clean, comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful views of sunrise over Lake Leelanau. Scott was super friendly and accommodating. Great variety of continental breakfast. We will be back as often as we can.

We really enjoyed our visit! I would highly recommend this place. The owners were very nice and social. The room was clean and comfy. We especially like the small deck outside our room that overlooked the lake. Very peaceful!
We loved our stay at the Whaleback last weekend! The color was beautiful, the hospitality was superb, and the weather was great for Michigan in the fall. We can't wait to return next year with our kids! Thank you for the lovely stay!

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip here back in February, although it was during the worst snow storm of the year, we had a fantastic time. It was actually where my boyfriend proposed, so I will always remember our stay. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were extremely homey and well kept. Definitely will be going back sometime soon!
We stayed in one of the cottages and loved it! Very clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay here again!
