Outstanding Service...Professional Work at a Reasonable Price! Jim is a Problem Solver...Had to fabricate a support piece for one of my old out-dated riding mowers...takes the time to explain what he has done and to inform you of future potential problems...returns phone calls and it seems no question is too stupid to be answered...has done work on two mowers, a Polaris Ranger, a Yamaha 4 Wheeler and a rear-tine tiller for me...no issues after pick-up...I highly recommend Westwood Small Engine!
Great business practices,open and honest, keeps in touch with you to let you know of any delays or if things change. When Craftsman put me off for 2 months on getting replacement line he ordered it for me and had it within days!!
Mr. Hughes's other endeavors may have taken a toll on his small engine service, because I see no positive comments here in almost 2 years. And my own experience with his shop was very unsatisfactory. He fixed my less than 2 year old Husqvarna chain saw in October 2016 and left a message on my answering machine it was ready. I highly recommend Westwood for your repairs. Jim is easy to work with and did a great job, reasonable price. He also recommended airplane fuel for my lawn mower with the newer fuel line system. The ethanol gas for autos attracts too much water which clogged the carburetor when it sat for about a month.
Jim is the best there is straight shooter no bs to b had with this guy , u want it done right the first time call Jim u wanna pay double and ur equipment still b broken go else where !
All I can say is the best damn repairman in the business.
