Top Notch We desperately needed some emergency repairs. It was a fairly small job, and no one else even returned my phone calls. Westward Builders had a carpenter on site the next day to do temporary repairs. They followed up with a complete repair as soon as the required materials could be obtained. They are easy to work with, and do excellent work.
Stellar craftsmanship and solid communication. Westward did a major remodel of our 1908 craftsman home in SE Portland — new kitchen, added bath, some basement structural work, and a new outdoor space + back deck. End result is gorgeous. Everyone compliments our kitchen, not only on how it looks (amazing), but on how good it feels to be gathered in. Project stayed on budget and schedule — the design and construction were enjoyable despite being without a kitchen for a few months!
On January 13, 2024, a high-voltage utility pole fell on my house. A friend of a friend referred me to Westward Builders to make the repairs. I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past, but Brian and Peter have restored my faith in contractors and, by extension, with humanity in general. We had a wonderful experience working with Westward Builders! Bryan and Peter became like family after our long journey with city permitting. My daughter still asks about them. They worked hard even in terrible winter weather to get our project done and the deck and front porch look beautiful. Will definitely recommend.
