Root Canal Anxiety About 2 years ago I was told I needed a root canal on one of my teeth; however, after having a bad experience many years ago, in my mind that was never going to happen. Unfortunately, over the weekend my tooth gave way and I knew it was time to schedule this appointment asap. I went in for the procedure at 9am and was out by 10am with zero pain.
