I went on a weekday morning and had immediate seating. I had the breakfast burrito which just excellent. It had layers of flavor and texture, and bonus points for presentation. This place is a gem. I'll definitely be back.
Since returning to G.R.a few years ago from a 40 plus year sojourn in the Western Hinterlands, I have been on a quest to find a local spot to enjoy the Polish foods I grew up on. I remembered seeing Polish items on the Westider Cafe menu, and decided to stop by to try some. Success! I ordered the Kielbasa plate: Local Kielbasa, "red bliss" fried potatoes, kapusta, rye bread, and dill pickle soup. Cozy neighborhood spot, with fabulous service, coffee and food! 2026 Update: unfortunately the service has significantly declined in my most recent visits, something is just off. I have been coming here since 2015 and I have never waited so long to be seated or to receive our meal. The kitchen appeared to be timely with food but I watched many plates sit in the window for several minutes before being taken to table, including my own. loved this place as a kid, came back as a adult and seen how it progressively declined, the food made me and my boyfriend super sick, it was good while you eat it.. but after.. not so much. staff was AMAZING tho which sucks because i know they aren’t getting tipped good because the food is terrible
FLIES EVERYWHERE! I mean EVERYWHERE and one rat dropping on my toast. Never coming back and was a customer for so long.
