Didn't realize how bad the doctors were until I went somewhere else. I was going to westside for as long as I could remember. My original doctor started to work only once a month so I decided to see Dr. Kloss. She was the main reason why I left. Very first meeting she ran about an hour late. The staff said she was busy across the street at St. Mary's. When she did finally show up, the appointment felt super rushed since all her appointments where now backed up. Within 2 minutes of meeting Dr. Kloss she asks me about my family medical history and I tell her my parents have passed already and that I truly didn’t know too much. She proceeds to tell me that she’s “sorry I’m an orphan.” It was a bit cold. She also said to me “what is that?” THAT being me cesarean scar I told her assistant about as well as mentioning it on my paperwork prior to her coming in. She should know what THAT is. Front desk staff was rude during each phone call I received/made. I scheduled an appointment on a Wednesday (a month out from scheduling), they then called me the week of and moved me to Friday due to an administrative error. Next, I received a call the day before my appointment and was told there was yet another administrative error and I’d have to wait another MONTH to get into the office. Completely unprofessional and a huge pain to deal with.
The doctors are decent but the office staff is very incompetent and will eventually lead to deterioration of the practice if improvements aren't made. The doctors should also review charts prior to entering the patient rooms as sometimes they didn't seem to be aware of my current state. After working for Trinity Health in the headquarters for over five years, I had very high expectations for the level of care and office organization but unfortunately they didn't meet my expectations.
