I recently went to Westside Modern Dentistry for a root canal and crown. The root canal procedure itself went well, and I appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the front-desk staff. They charged me for their cancellation policy during labor day weekend. I was notified Sunday via text message that I have an appointment on Wednesday. I called them on Tuesday to reschedule my appointment because Monday was a holiday. My appointment was on Wednesday, and I wouldn't have been able to call them prior to their 48hr cancellation notice because of the holiday. Their excuse was that the call center would have taken it. Don’t come here, they will try to upsell you as much as possible just to make money. They’re purely for profit, they don’t care about actually cleaning teeth. I had to switch as they were trying to upsell me THOUSANDS of dollars of basic teeth cleaning. Find a mom and pop dentist and save yourself the time!
WOW! What a fantastic dental office. Dr. Bhatia was top tier and super sweet. She was honest and respectful. Loved her so much, I'm bringing my whole family there from now on. Destiny, Victoria and Dominique were so funny, very relatable and a pleasure to be around. I am an out of pocket patient with a discount plan and this was by far the most affordable option. If I could give a zero I would. My 19yr old son, new to area and first time came in for a routine clean and xrays in which our insurance covers 100%. The website says they take UHC but they gave my son a dentist in the office that does not take UHC. Why would they do that knowing we have insurance?? Upselling everything and the office staff that answered the phone when I called was as rude as could be.
