Living here ia a gamble due to the incompetence of Indio Mgmt, the managers. We were without Central Air for 11 weeks in summer 2023, one of the hottest summers on record. It turned out that Indio Mgmt could not pay the A/C repair company, so the tenants suffered. Zero credit was given on our rent! Maintenance is haphazard, requiring endless requests. I wanted to share my experiences as a long-term tenant at Westside Court in order that prospective tenants will know what to look for. Westside Court was previously both owned and managed by the same person; it was his favorite property, and it was well looked after. This company is a joke. Our air conditioner has been out for 8 weeks. During one of the hottest summers in TX. They think providing window units is sufficient. I pay rent to have air in my WHOLE unit. Because my living room doesn’t have windows , my unit is in my dining area window. Meaning—my living room, kitchen and bathroom do not have air at all. Ok, it's not a bad apt complex at all. The area is really nice, though the traffic on Lemmon/Inwood is rough. I love this area around Christmas time, it is just too cute. I got to see all the marvelous horses galloping thru the area during Xmas. This is an affluent area with expensive homes. The area is super quiet and sort of remote. We moved from St. Paul, Minnesota to Dallas, Texas for work and we went through the application process here to find we were placed in a different apartment then advertised to us and upon move in found the apartment in very rough shape. Instead of replacing broken or really busted parts they just painted over everything. The rust is coming through the paints.
