I currently stay here and can not wait until my lease is up. Idk where to start. I'm in a 2bed 2 bath paying nearly $1500 for rent . You would think a washing machine and dryer would be included but it's not . The 4 washing machines they have at the complex laundry room we have to pay to wash and dry and they barely work and sometimes take your money. They didn't have maintenance men I signed to pay 1300 for rent every month some how it went up an extra 200. Dish washer didn't work nobody never came to fix it. Ice machine do... read more
Unfortunately, I cannot give Auburn Flats a good review. The apartments needs a lot of updates. It took 3 weeks just to Have a minor repair done. The grounds are not kept up. Floods in front of the apartment. I came to relax the grill out and the grill was nasty. The pool is never clean I’m paying good money here not to be able to enjoy where I live.
I've lived here since 2018 and love it but I've seen the property decline. Debbie and Lindsay are wonderful. Debbie has had to deal with maintenance turnover and does the best she can. The change in owners has gone from bad to worse. My apartment was never renovated. At first I was told the kitchen cabinets would be replaced, then was told no. Auburn Flats used to be a much more peaceful location to live, especially compared to the busy downtown region of Auburn. It is conveniently located to several stores, the Auburn Mall, and various restaurants and fast food locations. It is approximately a 10-15 minute drive to Auburn's campus, depending on traffic. Additionally, it is cheaper for a 1 bedroom apartment than many of the other apartment complexes that are only a few minutes closer to campus, which is nice.
