Many issues pertaining to water damage and mold the buildings closest to office are oldest and probably would not surpass with the health department. I mean my dehumidifier started growing mold inside of it! Also they do not turn you in the apartment you are actually going to be leasing. One day I went to shower and there was sewage in my tub, maggots included, couldn’t reach management or emergency maintenance so had to deal with it on own and ended up sick from it the next day. There are plenty of different apartments to chose from in Athens. Not many good things to say about westpark club. My family and I are finishing off our second lease, and will not come back. The apartment manager “Kelly” is as unprofessional and under qualified as it comes. Westpark club allows people, unknown to them, to stay in their complex. Started out on a bad foot. When I was touring a unit it was promoted with the vinyl floors (I have a cat so I tend to avoid carpet), and I made it VERY clear that the reason I was considering renting was because of the floors. However, someone else rented the unit before me, which is fine. I was informed there was one the EXACT same also available. Office never open, and never responds to vm or email. Repeatedly double bill all the ‘additional’ charges. So tired of the bullshit. If I could reach the corporate office to get out of lease I would….but they never answer either. Such a mistake renting here.
