Great Ballroom to learn dancing. Great teachers. Highly recommended.
My fiance and I have had so much fun learning a dance routine for our wedding from Lilia and Valdas. They’re amazing teachers, and wonderfully kind people (they’re also accomplished dancers, which shows in their teaching.) We’re happy to be a part of the Westmor family. We reached out to a few different dance studios when we were looking to learn to dance for our wedding, and Westmor was by far the most friendly.
My partner and I have danced here for 15 years. A historic ballroom graced by Fred Astaire, Shirley Temple, and all of the legends of ballroom dance whose photographs adorn the walls. One of the largest floors anywhere for competitive International style. Valdas and Lilia are wonderful, engaging people who have transformed the studio into a gorgeous modern space for weddings and other events, hired world-class professional teachers, and host group classes and parties. We are proud to call the studio our second home.
My fiance and I wanted to learn a dance routine for our wedding and reached out to a few different dance studios in LA before choosing Westmor Ballroom, and we couldnt be more thrilled with our choice. It’s been a true pleasure for me to come to Westmor every week for a dance lesson with Valdas for almost 10 years. He has helped me improve my dance skills in Viennese Waltz Fox Trot and Tango. It’s actually one of my favorite activities of my active workout routine to attend dance lessons here not only does it keep me in shape but it also keeps me on my toes as well.
