Edit to add: Westminster place has since sent an amount of $260 to a collections account without sending me any bills regarding such balance prior. I’ve found out about this balance via credit report. Upon turning in our lease at their sister complex, Westminster, we were met with a $1033.20 bill for carpet replacement although the carpets were undamaged and cleaned prior to us moving out. Renters beware: It is my understanding Braeside has a chronic water problem. Tenants on lower floors live with routine problems, resulting in unhealthy living conditions. As upper level units become available, current tenants are denied the option to move into better units. They recently violated the CARES Act and served a notice of non renewal to a long term loyal tenant and his family. They were complaining about the water issue regularly and ignored. The place is awful. The building I live in it’s like living in mental institution. With guy who live across from me yelling and screaming at night sounds like he’s throwing things. The sounds echo through my apartment. Feels like you living in the the projects. The ladies in the office come off very snooty and attitude like. Constant care for the residents and the property. Attention given as soon as possible to residents' problems or concerns.
For starters, the setting. Trees and the curving, gently hilly Boulevard make for lovely walks and often incredible sunsets. Next, the three closets across from the kitchen. I've lived in apts, flats, single houses, townhouses and never had a pantry and rarely a utility closet. and, the coat closet is bigger than the one we had in our house! Last but not least is the staff - office and maintenance. They are tops!
