DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I lived here for 3 years because I was living on my own and it was cheap and all I could afford I definitely regret doing it. The office staff are so incredibly rude and disrespectful, especially Jill. She's highly incompetent and unhelpful. I just recently moved out because I bought a house and had been keeping them as updated as possible while I was looking and getting the process started. Don’t rent here. Just don’t do it. The cheaper rent upfront will not be worth it once you receive all the fees upon move out. We have been charged well over $5,000 in fees for a clean apartment with rent paid on time every month. The leasing office sucks and is incredibly unhelpful. The maintenance staff is kind but that’s the only good thing I can say. Do yourself a favor and find any other landlord in Indiana. There’s plenty of other options. Don’t rent here.
Maintenance does a great job (especially Jermey R. and Trevor M.) very quick to help out! Upon move in I found a bloody earring and a bunch of debris in the corners. Kinda disgusted. Some grime was under the stove and greasy all over. The cleaning team needs to do a better job of deep cleaning. Although, the maintenance and receptionist are spectacular!
The maintenance staff is amazing. They are fast kind, explain everything and fix the problem as soon as it can be
Honestly I had no problem at westgate and always paid my rent on time, if not 2 weeks early. When I moved in I had (2) one time pet fees of $300 each and 25 per pet in rent per month. So over all I paid $600 - 2 pet fees $50 per month for 2 pets for 12 months = $1200. Just for having two cats. I misunderstood as probably 99% of normal people and thought of these charges as a pet deposit and not just a convenience fee of having pets.
