I paid $3,000 for wine last July, and eight months later, I have nothing—no delivery, zero accountability. At this point, I seriously doubt if this is even a functioning business. If you’re considering ordering from them, be extremely careful. Between the total radio silence and the unfulfilled orders, it feels less like a merchant and more like a scam. Avoid at all costs.

Been more than 10 months since I ordered and still waiting. Generally get the runaround. Was supposed to be on last shipment (8 months after ordering) - now it is supposedly in the European warehouse - which I only heard by following up two months later. They really aren’t on top of things and don’t seem to care the least bit in fulfilling orders - not sure this is a real company.

In the world of wine importing, life throws you unexpected hurdles. Tariffs, procurement, and many things I cannot profess to know nor understand as I’m not personally in the business. However, when these unexpected things come up, Westgarth does a good job of making it right by their customers and getting the job done.

I am yet to receive my order 6.5 months later after receiving a 3-6 month window. The service feels a bit like a Ponzi scheme, as payment is received very far in advance and they have no access to the inventory. Tariffs are often blamed, but all other importers I work with are functioning with no issue. Pretty disappointed with the experience. 0 stars would be more accurate. As another reviewer commented, Westgarth Wines is, in my opinion, neither a reliable nor reputable wine retailer. I placed an order in August, 2021 with an estimated 60-90 day arrival. I followed up by email several times requesting the status of my order. I received no response. What I did receive, however, were unsolicited sales calls asking me how I enjoyed the wine I had ordered (and never received).
