Westfield Veterinary Hospital has been practicing high quality medicine and surgery since 1945. Founded by Dr. Messer, the practice initially was primarily cows and horses. Over the years, as dairy farms were replaced by grapes, the practice started to focus more on companion animals, i.e. dogs and cats. Dr. Messer was followed first by Dr. Carlton Ulrich, and later by Dr. Donald Eno in 1960. Dr. Clark Young joined Dr. Eno in 1976. It is hard enough to find a staff as kind, thoughtful, and sympathetic to making difficult medical decisions in the climate of a regular hospital, yet the staff here did just that and so much more. Could not ask for a more caring staff and personalized care for a beloved pet than what you’ll find here. Each staff member goes above and beyond their scope of duty to ease the pain of pets and their heartbroken owners, from the front desk all the way back.
