TERRIBLE BUSINESS! My daughter called to get an estimate on a spayed surgery for her puppy, for which she budgeted over 10 paychecks at her part time job. She called 5 places to stay within her budge for which she found Western Vet Hospital to be the lowest price by $30. During the day of the appointment, they never called to explain there would be an increase in the charge (had they, my daughter would have picked her up prior to the surgery as she did not have anything else in her checking account). Today Feb 26,2019 is the day I had to put my poodle to sleep because he wasnt given any antibiotics or pain pills after 6 teeth pulled out. the infection went straight to his kidneys and he not responded to anything wouldnt eat etc. pepe will always be in my heart, even after all the fluids was given he was dying. I still havent forgotten this and i will always miss my Pepe.
RecommendedI want to lift up this great facility. Professional managment and compassionate care. The high light was when the vet came in and told me that Ms. penny was just acting... all the hissing and growling. 🤣
The veterinarians and staff are absolutely wonderful! They treat both the owner and the pet with kindness and patience. Even on your pet's very worst day, you'll be greeted with genuine smiles and extremely thorough care.
Dr. Fussell and Dr. Mitchell and their staff are great! Gismo loves going there and staying there while we are on vacation. It's nice to go and not worry about him, because I know he is getting great loving care, Thanks a million for your great services! Marilyn Bergbower, Gismo's mommy!
They were able to see my shih tzu Winston very quickly for what I thought was an emergency. He had an external obstruction and was screaming out in pain. They helped him and sent us home with a lot of medicine as well as prescription food for a very reasonable price considering all they did for him. He is all better now, and now I know where to take him for things that may pop up instead of OSU!
I have taken my Babies in to this location and have worked with both, Fussel and Mitchel. I really like both of these Doctors, because they're both outstanding. But, Dr. Mitchell is the one that is best for my Babies as she is amazing, really pays attention, remembers their likes, personality and she really is great all around with them. Our 14 year old Boston Terrier was having seizures and couldn’t walk or stand. We went to our regular vet and they would not even look at him said it would be hours until a vet was available. Went to Western and first the ladies who were there helped us right away get him more comfortable. Dr Mitchell was there in minutes and took such good care of our baby and us while we were there. It was the best experience considering what we had to do that day. We have definitely found a new Vet for our fur babies!!!!
