Upon entering the building I get to vibe and atmosphere of a 1986 Golden Corral. The food was bland but manageable. My server Heather seems pretty cool and did check on me regularly. I wouldn't go back because I did expect more. The last time I went to a Western Sizzlin, it was late 80s or early 90s. I see nothing different with the restaurant in over 30 years. If this is all the Rocky Mount NC market requires, then I get it. Lastly the staff was super friendly, thumbs up to all of them.
Stopped by to grab a bite to eat. First time to this restaurant. I got there around 7pm They close @ 9pm. Everything out was old and dried out. They brought out fresh fried chicken but everything else was dried out like they were ready to close. Salad bar was horrible. Flies were flying around the food. Didn't like any of the food, we stayed for about 20 minutes and then we left. The server was awesome but other than that 👎🏿. I won't be going there anymore.
Great food, great customer service, and excellent display of buffet.
Service and atmosphere was great. But, the star was the chef who cooked our steaks. Perfect medium, a little buttery and a little salt. This steak was special.
