I opted to get a stimulator for neck pain and Fibromyalgia and regretted it. It felt like I had a giant tense unit in my back and while I'm sure it helps many people, it didn't help my pain and it was uncomfortable. Dr. Lewis was very upset when I asked him to remove it and as he left the room he told the nurse to put me down as psychological. I was completely devastated. I finally had another surgeon remove it for me. I felt very positive when I first went there and the staff were great, I just didn't understand why he trea... read more
I went to see Dr Lewis upon recommendation by my family Dr as a second opinion from another pain doctor. I received a voicemail message from his staff, days before the appt, reminding me I was 'EXPECTED to arrive' at a certain time - FIRST visit remember. This after agreeing to an automated appointment reminder with a 'yes'.Dr Lewis may be a great physician, I don't honestly know - he blew into the room with such bravado or energy and flew through how the SCS system was the answer to everything. He misread or didn't know a l... read more
Dr. Lewis treated me for bursitis. I had had a bad experience with my prior Dr. in Denver and I was terrified to get this treated. He and his staff were amazing! His nurse actually held my hand. I did not feel a thing and I have been pain free for over a year. Thank you!
I found Dr. Lewis to be very kind, empathetic and professional. He treated me for sciatica and I am doing amazingly well. He is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise.
Spent money on X-rays, MRI, yet the doctor is a no show at the appointment after six weeks of waiting. Clearly, this doctor cannot be in practice.
Business response:
WRIPS briefly partnered with Lynx Healthcare from May-November of 2022. I am very much in agreement with you that the structure of this joint practice at that time was not conducive to quality patient satisfaction. I am no longer associated with Lynx Healthcare. I have been in practice in Grand Junction since 2004 and now have my own office and ASC convenient to Grand Junction at: 2460 Patterson Rd. Unit 4A. (Across from Barnes & Noble) 970-270-2259 I hope to win your confidence back.
Always able to get appoint to relieve pain
I have hope again! Dr. Lewis goes to great lengths to explain everything and he does it well. I did a trial for the spinal stimulator and my pain level went from a 7 to a 2! And I can live with that! I can't wait to get the permanent one in place. I highly recommend this clinic.
I was very pleased with my visit. Everyone was friendly and competent. The wait times were a little long but having been a manager at pain management and rehab center I understand the process. Dr Wells did an excellent job of explaining exactly what was going to transpire during the procedure. He also discussed possible options in the event I didn’t get full relief. I plan to continue care with this practice.
In my opinion the man is running a Spinal Simulator scam.
