Western psych is a terrible psychological counseling is not a good place to go for therapy or counseling. High turnover. They will never release your medical records.
My kid's therapist let us know they're moving across town--too far away for weekly appointments during school hours. I called Lifestance (formerly known as Western Psychological) to find a new therapist, told them we're looking for in-person, weekly sessions, and described his needs. Their intake person said they had a therapist who would be a good match, who would have an opening in two weeks. We went ahead and terminated with the old therapist. I’m not sure why my review was deleted, but this time I will leave out names. They set me up with a therapist who has shown no interest in even being my therapist. Instead she hints for me to pick a new therapist, or go to a group session. When I was instructed by the psychiatrist to see an individual counselor. I said okay. I called back and they set me up with the same counselor again. She just kept talking about finding me someone else the whole time.
