I was admitted for tracheostomy care, all the nurses and staff did an excellent job not just with me but all the paients. The very best hospital experience I've ever had!!!!
The worst place I could’ve ever seen my mother-in-law end up. She was doing so well at Saint Marks and then they take her here and it’s been nothing but stress. She’s gotten several UTIs because they’re not cleaning her properly. They put her in a stroke chair and didn’t strap her in and she fell on the floor and was just laying there for who knows how long until somebody walked in and saw her. My dad was at Western peaks for 2 weeks. Once we met his NP Tyler and got a plan going for his goals and a specific discharge date, then everyone worked really hard to help him meet that goal. He was able to get discharged on his goal date. He worked really hard with his physical therapist and we were pleased at how they pushed him to get better. I initially refrained from commenting, but since you asked, I wanted to share why I gave a two-star review. During the three weeks we were there, we requested to speak with a doctor every single day, but that never happened. Some of the nurses were decent, while others were clueless. Although they kept my mother alive, the care provided was subpar. Another example was, there were several instances upon entering her room where we found her completely exposed, uncovered and dirty which we reported, but it continued to happen. ... read more
My family member was with this "hospital" for about 6 days. When questions arose about care, blame was transferred from whoever it was brought up to with them pointing fingers at other staff members. Vaccines were given without consent, water was withheld, staff has NO bedside manner, and front desk lady is rude.
