Great care IF they can see you. For the second time, I called with a sick dog to be told he couldn't seen. Too busy. What's the point of a regular Dr if they can't see you in an emergency ?!?!?
Recommended1st time interaction with them today. I am pickier about my dog’s docs than I am my own. We are new to the area and after visiting a couple of other practices in the area- we have found our Vet. They did an awesome job with two of my guys today- knowledgeable, compassionate and reasonable cost for care- what more could you possibly ask for?
Dr. Hiibel has been my dogs vet since she was a puppy she is now 11. I moved to the Reno area a few years ago and have tried a couple vets and haven’t been happy with the services. Today I called Western Nevada Veterinary Services, they got my dog in same day and removed a fox tail in less than 20 minutes. I had her at a vet in Reno 2 weeks ago and they did nothing for her gave her meds and sent us home, they never looked for anything in her foot. They take care of your pets like they’re their own. I love going here and it’s affordable and the staff is super friendly!
My mother-in-law had to unfortunately put her baby girl down last week. (2.5 weeks after learning she had cancer) She had gotten to the point where she was struggling to breathe and not eating. The doctor and the staff were amazingly kind and courteous with us. They let us take as much time as we needed to say good-bye, and were so thoughtful. I will be bringing my baby there in the future for his vet needs.
My fur baby Saphire had to cross the rainbow bridge a couple days ago and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do..Thank you To the 2 ladies that worked with us and took care of my girl in her last hour of life. I will miss her forever thank you for being so kind and compassionate and loving to Saphire and to us.. I would highly recommend people to go here with their pets the staff here truly cares!
Dr. Hiibel and her whole staff are exceptional. I trust all my animals with them and highly recommend her and Dr Torvik.

You guys have always been so wonderful to us. Our baby stinky was not given very high chances of survival. But we were not ready to give up on him. Dr. Hiible was so amazing we are so grateful for you. words cannot express how grateful we are. Thank you so much.
