RecommendedDr. Witzel is prompt, honest, caring and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with how he handled my needle-shy horse, as well as how knowledgeable he was with the sudden lameness issues my horses were having. He was also very quick with getting me results and checking in on how everyone was doing. We are lucky to have him in our region.
RecommendedDr. Witzel has been great with my young red head who is not too fond of being poked and prodded. He was very patient with her and made sure she has a good experience both times he has worked with her. Thank you for helping her build a good foundation for behaving around vets!

RecommendedMatt did such a great job on my mare, Brigit's teeth. She has a bit of a problem tooth and he sorted her right out. She is generally pretty calm but skeptical about new people. He has such a lovely way with her and she did everything he asked. Very kind and even asked about the ancient goat. I am so pleased to have found him.
RecommendedWe had Dr. Witzel out for an emergency visit on Saturday for one of our horses who had a large, deep laceration to his back leg. Was extremely pleased with his quick response to the situation and how he made every effort to make sure the wound will heal correctly. We definitely would use and recommend for all horse needs in the future.
RecommendedOne on my elderly horses was having some back issues which was affecting her walking. Matt carefully assessed my whole horse as well as the problem. He was prompt courteous and very approachable. He demonstrated good understanding of her problem and gave her medication that is helping her.on top of that his prices were very reasonable. Couldn’t ask for more. I strongly recommend Matt for anyone who needs a horse vet.
RecommendedCan't say enough about WME!! Dr. Matt came out on a freezing Sunday night to take care of my mare!!! She showed improvement that night, is doing well now and Matt called the next day to see how she was doing. Thank you!!❤
