RecommendedI wanted to write a quick recommendation for everyone. We moved to Topeka a few years ago and started using western hills veterinary. This place and its staff are the very best I've found any where. Last week my cat became critically ill. Dr. Fischer was so kind. He makes sure extra and unnecessary tests aren't ran and has been doing this so long he knows exactly what to do. You can tell he does this work because he loves the animals and their families. Dr. Fischer and his staff are amazing! I called up, after never using them before, and told them my issue and they helped me asap. I fully intend to be returning after such care and concern was taken with my fur baby Lilly. I cannot thank them enough and I hope this helps others in making such an important choice as to who takes care of your fur babies. ❤❤❤❤❤
I called asking if they would take my new puppy in to treat after I found out he had parvo the vet told me he was too old to deal with him and he probably would die anyway because the last parvo dog he had cost the person 4,000 and didn't servive made me so mad because he didn't even have a positive outlook on my puppy I was already upset he didn't need to tell me my dog was doomed and was going to live thanks to Stonehouse animal hospital my dog is very much alive and will NEVER take my dogs to this clinic if he feels that ... read more

We are sorry that the conversation with Dr Fischer came across negative. With COVID 19 the clinic is closed to the public putting more stress on the doctor and staff. Some other area clinics have reduced their hours and are not taking new clients. That has put a strain on our clinic to try and meet the needs of our current clients. Dr Fischer recommends that you be seen by your regular veterinarian for this matter as he cannot provide the over night support that would be needed for your animal at this time. I can't thank Dr. Fisher and his staff enough for always being there to take care of my furbabies. You guys rock and Dr. Fisher is the BEST vet around. Love love you guys! You dont know how much I appreicate all you have done for my babies.
Dr.fisher and his team are awesome and I truly appreciate everything they have done to my baby rocky , honestly I would recommend them. Good on prices dr and the staff are very compassionate and care for the best for your fur baby 🐶

Dr. Fischer and his staff are very well educated and dedicated to serving the health of my two precious fur babies. They are lovers of animals, compassionate and caring. I highly recommend them.
