NEVER, EVER USE THIS TITLE COMPANY! Al Fugate gave away the keys to my home on a Friday and didn't bother to record the deed, wire the money, or pay off my mortgage until the following Monday. He didn't bother to let me know he wasn't going to record the deed, pay off the mortgage, and wire the money because, well, he had no excuse. Closed an all cash sale on our home on a Friday morning, this escrow company did not disburse funds to us, nor did they pay our mortgage off, as was called for in the purchase agreement. They sat on the money until the next week. I had to call the police. Escrow officer lied and claimed they don't wire money on Fridays due to wire fraud. This title company almost cost me a good deal of money due to their lack of promptness. With my mortgage company and my realtor 🤙 ng almost daily, I was still able to sign on the original closing date but I had to waive my 3 day waiting period between final loan approval or signing. Who knows how long it would have taken them to get the pkg of documents to my lender (who was prepared to have the final loan approved and really to sign 10 days ahead) if two entities had not stayed on them. I hired and paid WAT to draw up standard legal documents for a divorce. When my ex showed went to get her copy they proceeded to give her legal advice causing a delay in the divorce process!! Will never do business with again Thank you for admitting that you provided legal advise to an opposing party as you directly told me you told her not to sign and seek further legal assistance. I paid you to represent me, not her. You telling her to sign or not to sign was inappropriate, your job was to solely draw up the docs.
