Very professional doctor and knowledgeable and the staff is very professional and friendly.
She put in my first Neurostimulator, but only put in one lead instead of two. This meant it was only helping with one side of my spine and body. I didn't get my 2nd lead in till it was time to replace the battery 9 years later. It took an orthopedic surgeon to get it in bc of all the scare tissue. I still didn't get the relief needed bc the Medtronic rep didn't know there was a 2nd side to turn on. So, I went from 2007-21 with only one side on. Dr. Westergaard was not a pleasant experience for my wife and I. My 65 year old wife has degenerative disc issues in her neck. Bad situation and very painful. She has little patience for questions not understood by patients and treated us as if we were a pain in her rear end for us just asking. Bed side manner is not good and she is very arrogant. I drove 75 miles to take my wife in and she rushed us out in 15 minutes with irritation. Needs to retire because her care factor is very low, at least with my family. The great Car... read more
Very expericienced diagnostian. Wish I had found Dr. Westergaard sooner.
Very thorough & knowledgeable & I find her delightful. I don't trust easily, however, her expertise & demeanor override those anxieties.
She wasted my time and money. When I went to have my back injection 4/11/18, she insisted on lab work. Unbeknownst to me the lab work did not come back in time to suit her so she skipped me. A 15-minute procedure turned into three hours due to no fault of my own. The follow-up, which I might point out is the only way to get information from her because she will NOT talk to you on the phone was a wait of one hour.
She is so great at listening to my issues. I had to change doctors due to insurance, but now that I am on Medicare I hope to go back to her. A very caring person and doctor. Love her.
Dr. Westergaard gave me plenty of time, researching whenever there was a question about unusual symptoms. Very pleasant.
Waited for 2 hours to see the Dr. She seemed to be in a rush and not happy that I was asking questions about the treatment which would have consisted of a spinal injection.
