Put in a service request September 22 for two replacement mini-blind units for a french door. Was given an NSR# and put into their "system". Blinds are stuck down and closed in a tenanted unit. I requested an update October 23 from service@westeckwindows.com. Crickets. Contacted the initial contact person for an update October 28. "Thank you for following up. Unfortunately, the service has been declined as we no longer manufacture mini blinds glass. You may need to reach out to a local repair company." I could have had this ... read more
Kevin is a skilled professional that goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. We just had the pleasure of engaging him to take on the complete window and door upgrade on a very large, challenging 1900's home that we needed to keep the old world charm. Can't say enough good things about Westeck. Had two bay windows custom-made to my specs and they've been an excellent improvement to our 100+ year old house in Victoria. No problems for 10 years. Then a small problem arose (broken plastic piece, MY OWN fault). Contacted Karl here in Victoria. Very friendly, courteous, professional fellow. He put me in touch with the super-efficient Leah in Chilliwack and three days later the item arrived by mail. No charge. Our window was put in a bathroom part of the arm got rusty. They replaced the part and mentioned that windows do get rusty in bathrooms. They gave me a spare part for when the new part gets rusty.
Big fan of my new front door. Had a small issue and they took care of it. Jose and John were great installers.
