Great supper tonight! Came for my husbands birthday. His walleye was great! I had the bruschetta chicken pizza and our daughter had the new york strip. Excellent!!!
Excellent food on the Saturday night buffet. Large variety and all nicely prepared and hot. However, the service was VERY slow. 2 membets of our party had regular drink refills, the other 2 never got a refill, nor even asked if they wanted one. Dessert order was mis-made twice; so total of 20 minutes to get dessert. But they did comp them.
The salmon burger is amazing. Always delicious food and cheerful staff.
Sadly, I said goodbye to the West Wind last night after working with Tony and the staff for about 3 years, and I can tell you this: I've worked for several different dining establishments over the past 7 years, and this one has provided me with the best experience. I will miss working with a group of people that truly care about their clientele and each other like everyone at WW do. The Portobello Pie appetizer and the Prime Rib were phenomenal! Ty was the best waiter, fast and friendly! A must stop for our future travels!
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing breakfast, the staff here makes you feel very welcomed. The prices are very affordable. For any parents visiting there son or daughter at college and looking for a great place to eat with a proven reputation it doesn't get any better than the Westwind supper club. Lunch buffets during the week are billboard material, seafood buffet on Fridays is one of a kind, the prime rib buffet on Saturday is out of this world, Sunday's brunch is a family favorite.
Food is really good but the new computer system made leaving slow, hope they figure it out soon.
