My husband and I are long haul truck drivers and every time we get to come this way we look forward to coming here to eat. We have been to this diner many times and every time the food and service is great.
The food is delicious. . Whenever I going through Darien, Wisconsin via either passing through or picking a load from my customers in that area. I usually get something to eat there..
Great service, awesome food. The one thing I did not like is how they treated one of their waitresses. On the floor, surrounded by customers, I witnessed the owner down her. He called her fat, lazy, and ugly. You don't treat your employees like that. Especially when she was busting her butt for you. I hope she will quit or has already quit. You don't deserve her. I won't be back.

I ate there on Saturday. .great food and prices. Also the portion are big too.
Went for the chef salad and was so disappointed. How can you mess up a salad? I'll tell you. First the turkey had so much fat and gristle, eww, was gross in my mouth. Second, the ham is not ham, it's lunch meat. eww. And to top off the disgusting meal, the bill was for 3 dinners. There were 2 of us. The waitress wasn't paying attention and overcharged by a lot. I had her fix the bill and left the tip commensurate with the food and service.
