Was actually in the immediate care clinic today. Mind you my doctor practices at this facility, I’ve never ever had bad results with immediate care until today. I went in for severe abdominal tenderness. The waiting room only had 3 people (including myself) when I went in they were really not that busy. From the time I went in until I actually left w/o any results I was there a total of 4 hours. I had a CT done and lab done. I've had good luck with 1 visit, with Dr. Yang. But on 2 visits with Dr. Messner he has been very rapid, unconcerned and unprofessional. I visited yesterday for a likely gout attack in my knee and his first words as he stormed in were "slam a bunch of beers did we?" (I quit drinking 1.5 yrs ago). Felt my knee and said "yup it's warm". It’s the Sunday before the Monday celebration for Memorial Day. I need a prescription for an infection before Tuesday! I’m new to west Wichita. Don’t want to be tied up in an ER for hours. (However, worth the wait when you need one.) So, I tried the West Wichita Care Clinic. The receptionist was welcoming and efficient. The paperwork was easy to complete.
