I moved out after not having heat for over a month. When the hot water heater rusted out and I had no heat nor hot water, and nobody would even return my calls, that did it for me. The apartments themselves are beautiful and well-designed. The rent is reasonable. The management is horrible and the maintenance was non-existent.
The new manager hides out in her apartment instead of having the office open during business hours. I called to complain to the property management company in Newport Beach and nothing changed. People have gone for weeks without hot water, because the management cant seem to figure out that we need major maintainance help here. If you have two bathrooms, it takes months to get the unusable one fixed.
I have lived here over 2 years now. It was bad when I first moved in. It is clean now, freshly paved, the gardening is well done and Ive had maintenance quickly take care of my problems now. The new manager is top notch and so is the assistant. There is usually someone in the office and they are really taking care of the place now. I am very happy here now. Im with you on this one. WHERE IS THE FIRE DEPT. AT? BLOCKING THE FIRE LANE IS WRONG AND DANGEROUS!
I lived in the apartment about 2 years ago and it wasnt trashy then, but the entry and exit gates were broken.. and from what I read from other comments theyre still broken.. When we signed the lease we were told they would be running in about two months but thats the same thing they told our friends whod signed leases a year prior... but when it came to moving out they were very good about how they used the security deposit...
