We have a unique interest in birds, but are equally experienced with dogs, cats, rabbits, and pocket pets, such as guinea pigs, rats and hamsters. We are a cat friendly practice. As experienced professionals in all aspects of medicine and surgery, we built our reputation on personal service. We are now offering a mobile veterinary service twice a month-call our office for details.

West Valley Pet Clinic I have taken my dog there for 2 yrs. All three veternarians are very nice and knowledgable. They treated my dog caringly. Their prices are alittle high. I would definitely recommend them. (They also specialize in birds!)
Tigger's 1st visit to West Valley Pet Clinic I took our two year old indoor cat Tigger to the West Valley Pet Clinic on 2/18/11 as he was not feeling well lately. He was not eating and drinking much for a few days so we were concerned, in particular my wife and our two daughters. The clinic we visited was close to our house. Competent & affordable care My dog swallowed a piece of plastic. Dr. Govers tried to extract it using an endoscope to no avail. I agreed to have the dog operate on to remove the foreign body. The operation was a great success and my dog recovered in no time. The clinic has an outstanding and competent staff, all graduates of UC Davis. They have done a superb job keeping the operation cost affordable without pushing for unnecessary procedures. Without any reservation, I highly recommend this clinic. Gene B. San Jose
Professional We took our golden retriever puppy here for his first set of shots, and all of the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone is very friendly, and willing to answer questions without any issues. I am definitely going back again for his next round of shots.
All things considered with a pandemic, I would not, in good conscious, recommend for anyone to take their companion animal or any animal to this clinic. Just goes to show that the veterinarian industry for (nonhuman) animals is just as bad as the medical industry for humans. I volunteer at an animal sanctuary and there was a rooster that was injured really bad on his leg, so we were recommended to take them in to see Dr. Berens. RecommendedThis place, Dr Nesset and the staff are amazing! I live in Texas and was visiting my daughter in San Jose and my bird took a turn for the worse. I found them online and brought my green cheek Conure, Sunday there three days in a row for supportive care. Not only did they treat him like their own pet, but they made him amazingly better! Caring and very capable doctors. I have been with the clinic over 30 years. All my dogs, three generations, have been taken care by West Valley Pet Clinic. They are always the first doctors I’m looking for the help.
Dr Bron ad her staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. They care for the well being of the pets and their owners.
Dr. Brons is amazing. She has taken care of my White Bellied Caique for years.
