Called ahead about intake, was not told anything about needing a specific money order for payment. So had to leave ,sick, and run around at 530 in the morning searching for somewhere to get a money order. The staff was very impatient and rude to someone already crying and down just trying to get help. You don't know what every person who comes through those doors has been through to get there. They're trying to get help, stop making it so hard!
This place saved my life!!! I was going through treatment here and then I unexpectedly moved back to Dallas. I was unable to get into a clinic there for reasons unrelated to WTCR. I relapsed and I knew that I needed to get back to Amarillo and back into "my clinic" here. Superb treatment for opiate and opioid addiction MMT - Methadone Maintenance Treatment And Suboxone.
It's a real life saver for addicts like me, but wish the doctor and the nurses/counselors could stop lying about the take outs after 3 clean UA'S. I've had about almost a full year (8 months) of clean ua's and no luck. Also are counselors are suppose to be our biggest support for us to get take outs, but are told by Dr. Garcia "No one is getting a take out right now so don't ask anymore for your client".
